Invitation for the 2nd International Conference on Community Corrections and Social Control

Dear Sir/Madam:
 

We are very pleased to invite you to our 2nd International Conference on Community Corrections and Social Control, which will be held on June 8th, at Central China Normal University (CCNU) in Wuhan. CCNU is a comprehensive university which has been listed in the Project 211 by the Ministry of Education of China, and the School of Sociology is a pilot school of internationalization at CCNU. This conference is hosted by the School of Sociology. The conference covers topics including 1) Community Correction Theories and Methods; 2) Community Correction and Community Building; 3) Community Correction and Social Work; 4) Chinese Community Correction Model; 5) Community Correction Evaluation; 6) International Experience of Community Correction; 7) Community Correction and Legislature; 8) Problems and Solutions of Community Correction; and 9) general issues surrounding Community Corrections and Social Control.    


Please kindly confirm your attendance by sending back the reply slip and the abstract of your paper for this conference before April 30th, and your conference paper before May 25th, to Prof. Dawei ZHANG at zhangsir0619@sina.com. The abstract should be in English (within 250 words) and, if proficient in Chinese then include a translated Chines version (within 400 characters). The reply slip, abstract, or full paper should be sent as an attachment.  Please provide in Subject Heading of your email your name plus affiliation plus “Corrections Conference”.  


This conference is free of charge. We will inform you what kind of financial support we may give for your travel to Wuhan after we receive your abstract. Accommodation at Guiyuan Hotel (on campus, with shopping within walking distance) will be provided for scholars who sent their abstract to us early.
